Wow what a gem of a place. Taste was recommended by a family member. Took my mum who is a tad posh and OMG she loved it we both did. Real china cups and saucers and the most amazing afternoon tea with top quality ingredients (proper cooked ham not the plastic prepared stuff). Homemade cakes and the sweetest strawberries. The tea was good quality and stayed hot in the pot until the last cup full. No one bad think to say about this place. If there is one place to try then this is a must. Oh and ALL the staff were just lovely. I will definitely be back again ��������������� not very often I rave about an eatery but 5 stars from me ⛤⛤⛤⛤⛤
A group of us visited yesterday after several recommendations. It did not dissapoint. The moment we walked in we felt at home. The staff treated us all like long lost friends and the food was wonderful too. I only wish I'd known about this wonderful gem of a place sooner.

Superb staff, incredible service, and amazing atmosphere. The food is beautiful, prepared and presented extremely well. Our family loves Taste Eatery, and all four generations thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon there once again. We will be back soon!
What a lovely place. Took my daughter here for her birthday lunch today. Atmosphere and decor wonderful. Staff kind, friendly and helpful. Food was amazing and very well presented. Would highly recommend.
Excellent place to eat! We arrived at 3pm during the week and they accepted to cook for us. The pita and tarte were excellent with some delicious home made chips. The after war atmosphere was also great.

A 1940's inspired restaurant / eatery decorated with objects of the era.
Even the staff are dressed in that style & are super friendly.
I firstly went there just for a coffee whilst waiting for work colleagues. I returned again for sausage & mash with peas & gravy which was delicious. My next visit I had a de-constructed burger (no bread) again lovely.

A truly great cafe bar. Fabulous food wonderful staff and it supports the local music community with open mike nights every Thursday a great night out.
