The Regent Hotel Restaurant

Beautiful Christmas Dinner, excellent variety of hot vegetables to accompany your choice of meat or poultry, generous portion of meat and roast potatoes. Seafood platter for starters was fabulous and my choice of cheesecake for dessert was yummy. Christmas pudding and chocolate brownie were alternative choices. Only downside was we were called to our table one hour after our booked sitting time. Two children in party were most well behaved despite the wait.

My wife and I.stayed here for the night as we were going to the racecourse,the location is excellent for this.parking is very limited so we parked nearby at cavendish court (£2 for 24hrs at weekends!)On arrival we were met by a friendly receptionist ,the rooms are pretty basic and could do with an update but are clean and functional. The thing that makes this hotel excellent are the staff,each and everyone of them are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble ,this creates a great atmosphere at the hotel. Definitely 5*service.The breakfast is really good.great value for money,look forward to staying again in September for the st ledger festival.

Was the first time trying the Sunday lunch at The Regent and it it did not disappoint. The staff were amazing so friendly and welcoming, great fast service food came straight away! We choice the sharing platter for 2 and there was more than enough!!! The 3 meats were good the pork was the best the crackling was perfect. I would highly recommend the Sunday lunch and will be visiting again. Thank you.
