I went to one indoor stall that sells a range of fruit and vegetables etc and have been there quite a long time. I went for nuts and ground nuts. The owners were very nice and friendly and helpful. They put my goods in my wheelchair bag for me and came around to get their money. A big thumbs up 👍.

Sadly, some of the stalls have closed . It's still the best place to buy produce. Example tray of 4 small rump steak £5 ,2 pounds of bacon £6. Specialist cheese, Greek dely, South African produce stall,fish market, good value haberdashery stall , Topings game pies,Polish bakery. Veg & fruit section. People need to take advantage of the market or risk losing it. Better value than supermarkets.

Love this place. So friendly. Fruit and veg, and flower stalls excellent choice and prices. Loved the bread stall inside. Outstanding tea cakes. Best ever. Meat and pies so fresh. You haven't been you must try it. We go regularly on a Saturday. Shopping is really good. Plenty to do.

A fantastic variety of fresh meats, pies, fish, flowers, fruit and vegetables, continental foods and cafes plus bargain clothes, fancy goods and gifts. Great value and atmosphere.

Nice experience. Stalls were varied and well stocked. People running the stalls were really helpful.
The building itself is historical, so quite a joy to look around.

Very quiet for a Tuesday. Haven't been for a long time and was surprised at how many places had closed. The fish and meat stalls are exceptional value
