The sell delicious carverys here. The place might look a little 'shabby' from the outside but go in and let it change your opinion!!
Palfrey's Lodge in Cantley is a large pub/restaurant with an indoor kids play area. I've only ever been there through the day with the kids, and I've found it to be pretty good on the two occasions I've been there.
The play area is big enough to keep the kids amused for an hour or so while you eat, and it seems to be well enough maintained. My little boy just went round and round to go on the slide constantly for nearly two hours.
I had steak sandwich both times because it was so good the first time! Go for it without the mushrooms though - it's much better.
Plenty of parking out the back and a nice easy location in Cantley. I've heard that it can sometimes be a bit rough but I haven't seen that through the day.
Absolutely fantastic food and service. Very welcoming staff and nice decor. The service was great and the staff genuinely fussed over us highly recommend and can't wait to visit again 👌👌👌👌

The Bedroom is bigger than our living room, the Bathroom features a Spa Bath (Jets of water sprayed on you from either side) The shower is well designed and the space of all wardrobe,
The towels and appointments are up to the mark stars Servicing is as expected, not generous with the Tea and Coffee supplies.
The espresso machine tripped the sockets😱 There was a false alarm Fire evacuation @ 6am😬
Resterant staff and reception staff are competent, some not as pro active. Copying Dry Cleaning, Newspapers are available within 24hr room service £
Wi-Fi connection is good
There are Spas Wedding and Conference facilities. Bus links are convenient
Lovely decor and reasonable prices. Choose where you sit if you want to chat as it can get lively.
