Excellent local 30 minutes walk from “gig in a field”. Very reasonably priced good pub grub and a decent pint of Guinness. Dog friendly. Fairly quiet but it was a Thursday. Virtually Perfect.
A lovely pub tucked in a little village. Visited a few times over last month and besides a good selection of beers, wines and spirits the food is just amazing. Highly recommend for food.
Can only say the meal was beautiful and plentiful fresh veg .I would rate it 5star if people knew how good it was they would travel from near and far excellent

Quite a busy little local pub with a great atmosphere. Enjoyed a lovely meal there, just a simple pie chips and peas, everything seemed home made and was very tasty. Friendly and attentive staff looked after us well. I will definitely be making a return visit.
Amazing pub, visited after Sunnybank Farm and the beer garden especially is excellent, lush green grass and a major sun trap. We had our 2 dogs and our 12 yo nephew with us and we were all made to feel very welcome. Can't wait to return without a car 🥰 …
