Last night we went to the Indus restaurant in Conisbrough. Starters were chicken pakora, sheek kebab, masala fish, and chicken nambali.
Main course were chicken tikka sizzler, karahi chicken, butter chicken and chicken tikka Bhuna, all served with vegetable rice and nann bread. Portions are huge and no one had room for dessert afterwards!
A great restaurant with good parking!
First visit, after years of friends telling me how good Indus was we finally booked a table and went. Its now in my list of top 5 Indian restaurants in the UK The food was amazing, a nice touch is the pickle tray you get 6 to choose from instead of the usual standard 4. The service was very good, the price was reasonable. Nice big carpark. Top place ! Going to return soon with my brother-in-law he will love this place 😉
Probably the best Induan restaurant experience we've had in years. Very welcoming staff, swift service, excellent surroundings and of course delicious food in large portions. Great value for money and we shall very returning (already booked for next month).
Great restaurant, unfortunately we arrived late and they were still very accommodating and found us a table, superb food and service, nice atmosphere and fast service. Highly recommend. Best Indian restaurant I have been to for a long time. Good value, staff very friendly and chatty which is always good.
King prawns are very good, lamb very tender. All round high quality food.

We are well travelled when it comes to curry restaurants. We both said what a lovely experience it was.
The food was really tasty and well presented.
The staff are super super friendly and cannot do enough to make your experience enjoyable.
I would highly recommend anyone going here for a night out with family or friends.
They have also got an amazing function room upstairs that needs to be seen to be appreciated.
Go and try it for yourself, you will not be disappointed.
Amazing fresh food! Super tasty, brilliant customer service and amazing decor. If you haven’t been to Indus yet you’re missing out. There were people in there from all over Yorkshire and I’m not surprised! 🔥

We walked in on a spur of the moment as we didnt like the place we originally booked. Waited half hour for a table and it was worth the wait and more. Was so glad we came.
The service was great, the atmosphere was great and the food was absolutely amazing. They were incredibly busy too but all of the food tasted so good. Portion sizes are great. We couldn't finish ours so got our leftovers to go.
Was the best dining out experience we have had for some time.

Arrived at 5.30 on a Friday, opening time without a booking and they fitted us in table of 4. All meals were great, I forgot to order rice and requested it they made a batch up quick for me, and even apologised which wasn't expected or required. Any four meals and starters, all lovely and took leftovers home.
