Fayre & Square

We went today for a family celebration and I hadn’t booked our dog in . The owner was so lovely and sorted us a perfect table to allow our dog in . I can honestly say it was the most gorgeous tasty and large portioned meal I’ve had for a very long time. The roasts are amazing ! I didn’t want the sharing platter of desserts to end it was so wonderful. Great value for money and lovely friendly owners. Thank you!!!! Can’t wait to go back .

Been here a couple of times since it’s changed ownership. The first thing that stands out is how welcomed you are (top class banter). Had food on every occasion and it’s always cooked to perfection. If you want somewhere where you’ll feel welcomed, have a good meal and a good pint I would definitely recommended

Nice welcoming place. Showed to table and then waited ages for our order to be taken, including drinks order. Ordered 2 kids meals which came out before ours, which we asked for as kids were hungry. We ordered 2 tomahawk steaks and were told 45mins before they would be ready, which wasn't an issue. The steaks were amazing, so much meat. The sauce on both were wrong, but as it was in a pot, it was changed easily. Heard a few customer complaining about wrong orders and 1 table asked to be served while we were there so looks like they were waiting ages like us. Ordered kids ice cream, again took ages to come and waitress didn't know what table it was for.

First time going there, I was amazed by the stone and wood buildings. If you want to try the best beef, try this one even the burger is lovely. Affordable prices, tasty food, very nice atmosphere inside and outside romantic too. Fresh Guinness 😁 lovely cocktails. Waitresses and bartender very lovely, ask anything and can give you honest advices. Would love to see cheese platter earlier than Christmas, would enjoy with a change of drink.
