Just spent a week in this hotel and can say I had an excellent stay.
The manager and staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was top quality
:) :) :)
Cannot praise this place enough. Great food, really friendly staff. Nothing to much trouble. Set in a lovely village. Accommodation all you could wish for.
Sunday morning after a trip to see the alpacas at Bishop's Court farm. Lovely staff, including the boss, and they make a magnificent pot of tea. Bacon sandwiches would have been great but it was mid-morning and, to be fair, we didn't ask. Great location assuming you can park nearby
Fantastic nights stay at this hotel.
Set in a beautiful location and a stunning hotel.
All the staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble.
Food was amazing 5⭐️ to the chef.
We will definitely be back.
Excellent hotel. Just 5 miles 10 minutes from Redbridge Park & Ride outside Oxford City. Food is excellent, breakfast and dinner. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was comfortable and very comfy bed. Parking at rear of hotel which is an old coaching Inn with a lot of character and history. Fully recommend.
Lovely old English Inn with quirky rooms and traditional decor. My Italian colleague said "could this be any more English?" as we negotiated the complex maze of corridors to our rooms. Breakfast was great, and staff helpful without being over attentive.
Dorchester is such a lovely village and is used to film Midsummer Murders. Very helpful and flexible with a lovely restaurant. Room smelt a tad musty on first entry but they are old buildings and we slept well. Car park is small and entrance is tight, just be patient. Lots to do in the area and wonderful for a river walk, Abbey and a nose around the allotments.
Lovely little hotel. Charming setting and rustic. Enjoyed breakfast and a meal in the restaurant as well. Enjoyed how child friendly it was. Thanks all
It's a traditional hotel that fits in well with the area. Staff are polite and accommodating. Rooms are spacious and traditional. I highly recommend if you want an escape from the busy fast paced life. A good place for chilling and relaxing.
We went for a light lunch and were delighted with the menu, food and service.
My partner Liezel and I stayed at the White Hart Hotel as a last minute getaway, to get some peace away from some troublesome neighbours. We managed to get an early check in and an upgrade thanks to the wonderful Marie. What an asset to the Hotel she is. The Hotel is an excellent place to stay and use as a base for exploring Oxfordshire. Dorchester on Thames also has a wonderful historic Abbey. We had two evening meals and two breakfasts whilst staying at the Hotel. The food was excellent and all the Staff that we met were also excellent and very accommodating. A big thank you also to Dawn for listening to us and giving us some moral support. Smalls acts of kindness can make a person's day.
Went here during a visit to see family nearby, had a wonderful dinner and drinks with amazing staff. Perhaps the most dog friendly restaurant I have personally been to, most welcoming atmosphere full of lovely people. Would recommend popping by if you are In the area!
