Stayed here for 3 nights and ate in twice. The room was clean and adequate but not serviced during our stay. The bathroom was modern and fresh with a lovely walk-in shower. Quality and quantity of food was excellent, as was the service, attentive and friendly. Overall, a good atmosphere and friendly place to be. The location may not suit everyone, but there are plenty of walks nearby, and a railway station across the road to venture further afield.

Wow what can I say. Just returned from a two night stay over. We had a ground floor room in the converted barn/skittle alley. With lovely courtyard area tables and chairs outside our room. The room was small but beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The whole place is immaculately clean. With beautiful decor. We had roast on the Sunday which was first class. And the following evening very nice meal. The staff are lovely too. Very friendly and attentive. Already booked a return visit before we left. Highly recommend x

We stopped on the off chance on the way back to Weymouth, having been in Moreton Forest for a walk. The roast dinner has taken up back to pre covid quality and portions. Absolutely wonderfully cooked. Would highly recommend the beef. The accompanying vegetables were cooked to perfection. That is the first time in a long time that I have finished a plate of food and felt completely satisfied. Good team staff chatting amongst themselves but never missing the customers nor the service. One very very minor niggle: the knives could be sharper :-)

Four of us had lunch here today. The draught beer was delicious and good value. The food was tasty. The log fire blazed. Molly and Kat who looked after us were friendly and efficient. Now we know how nice The Frampton Arms is, we hope to persuade the rest of Crossways Library Writing for Fun Group to have our festive lunch here.

Great comfortable accomodation (my relatives stay here when visiting) and fair pricing. Food is very good, staff and service is first class. Card only..no cash unfortunately. Homely interior. Early 10 o'clock closing though after summer months. Recommended 👍

Spent a weekend at the Frampton with a large group of friends. The staff, service and food were absolutely fantastic. A special thanks to Kat, Sian, Maddie and Becca for being so polite and helpful during our stay. We would love to return next year.

Spent 2 nights in this excellent country pub. The surrounding area is very beautiful with plenty of landmarks to visit. The staff were all very polite and the evening food is amazing! Very well priced for such a high quality establishment. Edit: The rooms were very clean with a few amenities including a kettle and complimentary coffee

Good food! The Sunday lunch was enormous and of excellent quality! We also ate there mid-week and that was good too! Within easy walking distance from 2 campsites!

I am a local who has not been back to the Frampton since Covid and the refurbishment, I used to go regularly for their amazing carvery, which unfortunately they no longer do. That said, the refurbishment has been a tasteful addition to a beautiful building ( I own my own construction company and have seen plenty of bad ones). we arrived as a hungry family and left a very contented full family. Service was great just enough without being overbearing, we all had sirloin or rump steak, each one served exactly as requested. Atmosphere was great, i really dislike restaurants that are crammed with tables for Max return, the Frampton is well spread out. Considering the overheads of running a house like the Framton to the standard it is and the food we ate (starters, main with side dishes and a sweet), I would consider what we paid not only reasonable but cheap, taking the current climate into consideration. Thank you for a very memorable evening
