Had a lovely belated Father's Day lunch today at the Buttercup cafe. Food was delicious as always, staff were fab and service excellent. The waitress over heard us discussing who was going to get the extra Malteser when we were sharing a cake and quietly went off to get us spares! It's the extra bits that make a difference sometimes. Would highly recommend.
Stopped off for a cup of tea yesterday as we were waiting for a bus, it's such a lovely place and the staff were lovely.

We had a little stop over at this cafe on our way from Fort William to Edinburgh airport and the staff were lovely and friendly. We had coffees, pastries and a sandwich - all very good. The cafe was bright and airy had a peaceful and cosy atmosphere. Lots of locals seemed to be enjoying their breakfast there! Pancakes looked good! Next time hopefully!

We were welcomed by really friendly staff and we were put on a table in the backyard. The weather was fine and food came quick.
I had a steak sandwich. Price was decent and it came quick. It had alot of caramelised onions. They had a distinctive flavour and they were unfortunately dominating the flavour.
Overall this is a really good cafe with alot to offer for good prices.
Lovely trip to this splendid wee cafe today! Helpful staff, 2 delicious soups ans fresh tasty sandwich. Pretty decor with lovely neighbouring shops, Doune Chic. Both well worth a visit. Will definitely be back.
Busy and popular, deservedly so. Hard-working friendly staff all trying their best to give you a good experience, even under pressure. Not so many places manage to achieve this. We're going again tomorrow for breakfast.

Delicious wee cafe serving drinks, cakes, tray bakes and light lunches. We had 4 sandwich meals with chips, soft drinks and then cakes & hot drinks to takeaway costing £61 altogether. The food was amazing, fresh and packed full. Would highly recommend in current climate with all the social distancing and cleaning protocols observed. And can't forget all the staff who where lovely and attentive. Will be back. 😁👍
We had a lovely late lunch here. We enjoyed hot chocolate, the Greek plate, the Buttercup burger, and a variety of desserts. Quaint setting and attentive service.
What a LOVELY cafe with such lovely staff, and lovely food, I highly recommend the superfood salad! And lovely children’s choices! Family & dog friendly!
I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the lovely waitress who served us today (Tuesday 25th lunchtime) for being so kind when our rescue dog panicked & sprinted off with a chair tied to him… thank you for being so kind & can you please thank the staff at the equally LOVELY florist, we were hoping to find them on Google to leave a 5 star review as they were so so kind and we demolished their plants. They insisted we didn’t pay anything & only cared about our dog. I’ve never known such kindness as I’ve found in Scotland! Thank you from Griffin 🐾 🐾 who is recovering from his shock.
Lovely drinks and food! It was a lot of noise from the road outside, but the inside looked nice and welcoming. Friendly staff.
