Edit /Update : OK over a year ago this take away was RANK, DIRE, TERRIBLE. Now it seems a lot better. New Owner and his wife are very friendly and always happy to try and accommodate. For a village chippy they aren't bad and seem to be trying their best at the moment.

Honestly as I read the reviews I was doubting about my fish and chips I had just ordered. It wasn’t the best fish and chips of my life nevertheless it filled up my tummy in a nice way. The kitchen looked pretty clean and overall we had a nice meal with my family. If you have no where else to go and need a decent fish and chips stop here.

Had a Pizza from Drum Take Away last week. The pizza was delicious and wonderful looking. Also we had Doner Kabab one time, it was freshly cut infront of us from the doner machine. The kabab taste great too. Thanks to Drum Take Away new owner and team.

Had two takeaways from here over the course of a week and one mini snack (deep fried mars bar). Both meals were excellent, fish really tasty and great batter, haggis excellent, burger and pizza tasty and filling. It took a few days to pluck up courage to have a deep fried mars bar (when is Scotland etc) tasted a lot better than it sounds and looks - go for it! Staff really friendly, helpful and if a mistake made, corrected as quick as possible. Excellent value for money.
