Enjoyed Sunday lunch here today. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere in the bar restaurant. Great menu. Food was home cooked, plentiful and tasty. Really good value for money. Service was excellent. Staff very attentive, pleasant and helpful. Our first visit but we shall return. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Lovely family run pub. It can be quite hectic during busy times but it doesn't spoil your experience. The food is great and the specials menu is rather nice and has great choices. I really don't like chain pubs and much rather go to a pub like this.

Had homemade liver and onions very good, enjoyed a pleasant lunch with friends. Closes at 3pm so don't book in after 1.30pm

Lovely tasty freshly cooked food, hot,good portion size, Diane sauce for the steak was lovely, and a hefty portion of baileys cheesecake, to follow, really enjoyed it..

Took visiting family there for lunch, great selection of different dishes...and all 8 of us really enjoyed our meals and the staff were lovely too.

Didn't have a table booked here for lunchtime but the staff were really helpful and polite. We were shown to a table and then we were left to look at the menus, once our order was taken there was about a 20 min wait on the food but it was beautiful the potions are good and the food tasted lovely.
It was good value for money too.

Embarrassed to say it was the 1st time in over 25 years I'd visited,don't know why, but was I happy lovely food in beer garden lovely drinks too the whole place was fantastic highly recommend deserves 5*
