We had a lovely dinner at Pattenmakers. Every single dish, from starters to desserts, has been absolutely amazing. Fresh ingredients, well balanced and designed tastes, and all cooked to perfection. We couldn’t be happier. Our fav was the Pan fried halibut with caviar and lobster bisque, but honestly everything else was just as wonderful. Service was very good too - very attentive and friendly. :) The price might not be the cheapest but for the quality and standard it has, it’s well worth it in our opinion. We will definitely come back again! Highly recommended.

What a fantastic place. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. Every course was outstanding. Don’t take the front of the pub at face value. As soon as you walk in the beautifully tiled floor in the bar area shines bright and the experience begins. Give it a try and treat yourselves.

First visit to The Pattenmakers Arms, Duffield, but certainly won’t be my last. The warm welcome, the food, the surroundings, (the loos), everything was impressive. Disappointingly it was rather quiet, so the ambience was a little flat, though perhaps on Thursday lunchtime that’s the norm. The place deserves to be booked up well in advance, but maybe I’m spoiling my chance of dining in the future. Can’t believe I’d not heard of it reopening before now. Highly recommend. A word of warning, it has very little on site parking so be prepared to park a little way away.
