Lovely staff, and good food reasonably priced. The pub was busy, with lots of people enjoying a live football match, but staff were really helpful. The premises were clean and tidy throughout. There is a platform lift for wheelchair users.
I'll start by saying I really enjoyed the food, but it took ages to come out and the place was dead. Thursday afternoon, hardly anyone in and we waited 45 minutes for food to come out (missing part of the order) then another 40 minutes after for desert. Disappointing.
Had an excellent meal and drinks, with service from mari who was fantastic, very knowledgable with allergy awareness which you don’t often see in many places. The pub could do with a bit of an update however it was still very clean and welcoming.

Tasty food, good beer selection, friendly people. Had a mid-week lunch here. We walked in, no reservation. Had the Steak & Ale Pie. Pastry was croissant like, beef a little dry but well worth the price.
