Enjoyed it.
We went in for a lunch one Friday and had Cajun Halloumi Wrap and Fish & Chips (pictured). Both were delicious, but especially the wrap. I thoroughly recommend it. Fish and chips were on specials board and I didn't see it on the main menu, so it could only be a Friday thing?
The staff were working very hard as the place was very busy (people queuing, waiting for the tables kind of busy), but still were smiling, stopped for a chat, and even gave my wife a quick tour of the restaurant.
The only thing I would personally like to see improved are the acoustics of the main sitting area. I don't know why it is (maybe it's the sloping ceiling) but it was very loud in there and it was difficult at times to hear what the person across the table was saying. Maybe some soft furnishings draped across the ceiling would help?
Anyhow, we did enjoy our lunch and will definitely be back.
Thanks.
The cafe was lovely!
As a cricket team coming down from Glasgow we were able to pre order what breakfast rolls we wanted and the brilliant service team had reserved us a large table in the old stables so we could all sit together.
The pile of empty plates at the end was testament to how tasty the food was!
An absolute gem of a find with a large carpark.
Walking through the farm shop several of our team were amazed at the wide selections of meats and vegetables that were on offer.
Will definitely revisit when I am in the area again.

A great location for a stop when travelling through Scotland.
We decided to eat from the outside BBQ / grill.
Burgers are great quality and very filling. It took about 15/20 mins to order, but it was lunch time and they had some big lunch orders in from the office nearby. Smelling the food I felt very hungry and ordered the meal deal with chips and a drink for £2.50 extra. You got loads of chips and I couldn’t eat them all.
My eggs were nicely done & my partner enjoyed a full breakfast.
Didn't get time to do some shopping but the read meals & groceries looked great.
Good, popular farm shop. Super cafe. Had great breakfast & lunch there. I always try and stop here when I'm passing through.
The farm shop is lovely. But the food bothy outside is really something special. Cooked to order and the food is incredible. I would suggest the very best for takeaway food Ive ever had on the rd. The bacon was thick cut smoked and cooked on bbq style cooker. The rolls fresh and doughy nothing like the air filled garbage most call bread. You're really into something here. Defo be back next time in the area!
Love the meat and deli counter. Go in quite often. Restaurant to the rear of farm shop. Fruit and veg as you enter the main door to farm shop. All meat I think comes from their animals too. Would recommend
Great farm shop; looks small on the outside but there are more adjoining buildings behind! Two parking lots; one on site, second one across the road. Shows you how busy this place can get! Once inside, there are tons of things to buy! Good selection of cheeses, meats (cooked and raw), fruits, vegetables, jams, relishes, wines, biscuits, sweets etc. There is also a florist here and you can buy greeting cards, gifts, souvenirs too. There's a restaurant for those wanting fresh hot/cold food/drinks. Toilet facilities available too. Items are a bit on the pricey side but the quality certainly is there! Staff are friendly and helpful. All in all, a great visit and certainly spent quite a bit of the lovely stuff here.
Superb quality food, service excellent. Shout out to Harry who was brilliant. Food top notch today, first time I've been in too. A place to take family and friends who come to visit without a doubt.
Nice shop with a great selection of local produce. We visited to buy gifts for a foodies birthday and got everything we needed. Slightly expensive so I wouldn't do my weekly shop here but definitely nice for gifts or to treat yourself.
