Great food in a very good atmosphere. Excellent service from the staff who were attentive and professional. Can be busy, but dont let that put you off. One of my favorite places to eat in Dundee.
I been in this restaurant few times and every times it is quite busy and we need to wait for our table. I really enjoyed the food, a bit expensive respect other Mexican restaurant in Dundee, but unfortunately The service is not the best, very poor. There is a nice atmosphere and is not too noisy! I hope they're going to improve their service!
WONDERFUL RESTAURANT. As an ex member of staff at this restaurant I have to fully DISAGREE with the reviewer who stated how the staff were poorly treated.
Standards are exceptionally high at this restaurant and the owners demand perfection--those who don,t make it here are obviously not up to the task. I enjoyed 2 great years here whilst at Uni and was always treated exceptionally well. I also made a hell of alot of tips. The person who wrote this should perhaps take a look at themselves and why it didnt work out for them.

WE LOVED IT. My husband and I were in this restaurant at the weekend. We went there on a recommendation from friends. We had such a wonderful time. Service, food, drinks and atmosphere all first class. Would recommend booking.
Excellent. Went to this restaurant as part of a large group. Service was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome even though the restaurant was extremely busy. Food was delicious, best mexican we have had for a while. Great atmosphere. Would thoroughly recommend.
Fab!. This is a great find in a city that doesn't have too many resaurants where your meal is cooked freshly for you! My hubby & I visit Rancho Pancho regularly & love it, my parents who live in Northern Ireland have also fallen in love with this place & go mad for the burritos. I have to say I have always love the fajitas which come out as promised sizzling like crazy, the presentation of them is quite impressive too. Have a look at the cocktails, mixed for you on the spot & served by bright, happy & friendly staff.
Went on a Saturday night which is rather busy and had a great time. The fajitas are very tasty with the chicken, onions and peppers cooked perfectly but they could be a bit more spicy. The cocktails are also really good and the atmosphere is fun with the music and decorations.
Very busy place, book before you go as its seems to be very popular and as we found out it's not surprising. The staff are very attentive ,the food was amazing, nice portion size and very reasonably priced in comparison to Glasgow or Edinburgh. This place is well worth a visit.
Rancho Pancho was recommended to us by a mexican friend. The food is great. We can recommend trying the mole poblano - a chocolate chilli sauce that is much better than it sounds. The cocktails are expensive but good. The place is quite small and gets packed really easily so booking ahead is recommended, especially on a Friday night. Rancho Pancho is definitely a favourite of ours and even though we’ve sadly moved away by now, we do still try to get a table when we go on a wee trip to Dundee.
One of many great experiences at Rancho Pancho. My partner and I were seated immediately upon arrival even though the restaurant was packed (on a Wednesday evening!) - we did have a reservation and would recommend booking a table ahead of time if you plan to dine here as it's usually very busy. I had the nachos to start and the chicken enchiladas for my main, all washed down with a few bottles of Pacifico Clara. The food was fantastic as always, with generous portion sizes at very reasonable prices. I was stuffed and couldn't handle a dessert, although my partner had the churros and thoroughly enjoyed them. Service was quick and the staff were all lovely and attentive. Already looking forward to our next visit.
The food at Nacho Pancho Dundee is superb and tasty, and considerably affordable. The staff are courteous and friendly. Food was served professionally. This restaurant is also close to the Dundee Museum; after Lunch or Supper, you can take a walk and enjoy the seaside and the beautiful environment. Packing here is charged, so ensure you pay your parking ticket to avoid penalty.
Lovely little Mexican just on the edge of the city. A good selection of all of the classic Mexican dishes as well as a few specials and a decent selection of cocktails.
It's quite small, so worth booking. But good enough that we went twice in a short weekend break to the city.

Had the enchiladas with mole sauce - have never tried mole before and the color does look lighter compared to the ones online but it tasted nice. It was sweet and rich that paired well with the enchiladas. Generous portion size.
My friend has the tacos - the shell was soggy when we were served it, but the overall dish was bursting with flavor. Different textures in the dish. The rice (served as a side) however tasted stale.
Would love to go back someday to try their weekend brunch menu
After not being able to have a meal here last year, while in Dundee for a Seminar, I booked a table in advance.
The restaurant is small, there was a nice ambience, lots of lovely pictures on the walls, Staff very friendly and pleasant............the food did not disappoint, my Chicken Quesadilla was amazing, I know what I will be ordering the next time I am in Dundee, my Colleague said her Chilli was amazing.

Stumbled across this retaurant at 5.30, and were lucky to get a table! Very popular and no wonder. Excellent food, decent portions, friendly service. Will return when next in Dundee!
Great food, great place and fantastic service. Lots to choose from and drinks good too. Mia served us, she was young and very friendly, professional and knew every aspect of the menu, such a pleasure to dine here. We will be back and would highly recommend this place. 🇲🇽
