Went in for an early tea so not many people there hence 2 stars for atmosphere. Brilliant to get half portions which is more than enough for us. Service very friendly and helpful and food was delicious. Prices very reasonable

We had an 80th Party in the large function suite which was free to hire.
Nicola the manager was superb when booking,she answered all our questions and gave good advice about the evening(buffet,dj,drink prices,etc)
Bar prices were very competitive especially for a function,they even bought in a particular bottle of spirit as it was the b,day boys favourite tipple.On the night Frankie and staff were friendly and very accomodating,helped out if required and sorted out our buffet etc.
The DJ Steve was also excellent set a great atmosphere by getting us all involved.A great selection of requested songs,some karoake if wanted and lots to dance to.
The actual venue inc toilets were very clean and tidy,all in all we would definately book The Barrels again and highly recommend its function suite to all.

Go to the barrels quite a lot for breakfast/dinner, went yesterday ordered a chilli burger , normally very good, this was like someone fried some mince and added a few jalapeños, it was disgusting, I scraped the mince off(my partner ate it, he eats anything)so had a plain burger, don’t think I will be going back which is a shame as I have always enjoyed the food, I told the waiter about the food and he said he would find out who made it

Just ordered a takeout breakfast from you guys that rescued me from my hangover this morning. Awesome portions of mushrooms and everything. Piping hot! Absolutely lovely best fry up I’ve had in ages!
