Nice little traditional café. Options included some lentil soup, vegetarian burger. So my vegan friends could have something as well ☺️

One of my favourite tearooms. Really nice selection of breakfast, lunch and snack options. Excellent home baking and really friendly staff.

Went for breakfast food was excellent and reasonably priced. It wasn't too busy but a certain Radio 1 big weekend may have impacted. Friendly staff and good service worth a visit and will definitely be back.

We visited on a very quiet day last weekend. I had a really good chicken mayo sandwich, nicely served with salad. My partner ordered a bacon roll which was so good he ordered another one. The Speckled Hen's highly recommended for high standards of cuisine, friendliness and service. The only drawbacks are that it's quite a long way down a country road and the decor is basic. But these are quibbles.

Nice soup and sandwich deal. A decent sized pot of tea, and a limited selection of cakes. Tables well spaced and parking outside.
