Excellent coffee. Very friendly staff. We went there for coffee and cake. The coffee was delicious, no doubt top quality. The cake was good but overpriced for the portion that we got. It was really small... Their bagels, baguettes and rolls looked absolutely delicious so we'd probably go back there for lunch.
Great coffee shop to rival the international brands. They've got the basics right - excellent coffee. The food is none too shabby either with delicious sandwiches, bagels, cakes and pastries to tempt you. Don't forget to look out for the penguins across the street.
BUBU is fast becoming one of my favourite lunch spots. There are always great vegan options, I've had salad, chilli, jambalaya and roast veg on a prego roll. Prices are reasonable and everything is very tasty. The biggest bonus is that the coffee is amazing! It's a great joint for Vegans to visit and I highly recommend it! There is outdoor seating if you are brave enough to face off the growingly infamous local seagulls. The staff, much like the menu, are pretty cool and 100% pleasant. I regularly enjoy doing some work here. I look forward to my next visit every time I leave. Also their home made slaw is to die for, get loads of it!! I only wish I had taken pictures so I could really show you how good this place is.
Oh there is cake, lots of cake.. I think they sometimes have vegan cake too, but I'm not 100%.
Friendly staff, and a wide variety of food you won't get anywhere else.
Everything they make is fresh, and crafted by them; they come up with all kinds of recipes for their food. For examples, check out their Facebook page as their food changes regularly. And if you've vegetarian or vegan requirements, they do alternative versions of just about everything. There's no compromise here.
And their coffee is very tasty too.
We love Bubu, plenty of visits to this wee cafe for good coffee and great food. Dundee needed something a bit tastier than the usual beige, only so much 'various colours of chicken mayonnaise' you can take. Sure it's pricier, but it's real good food and nice service. Can get busy at the usual times so prepare to wait if you want your BuBu Ruben toasted! ...and plan wisely of you're in a hurry. There are premade up wraps, baguettes and salad boxes that can be grabbed to go however, and awesome drink choices.
Great selection of salads, sandwiches, bagels, wraps, soups, curries, vegetarian options etc etc. Good wholesome foodstuffs. Excellent coffee, tray bakes, cakes etc. Super helpful staff. Not too expensive. Hugely recommend.
The cake and coffee here is great. Also the bagels, unique but tasty. Love sitting by the window and watching Dundee go by!
