After reading all the negative reviews of this restaurant I knew this place was for me. Just take a look at the slop on offer. It's utterly glorious. There aren't many places in Dundee where you can stuff yourself silly and then suffer for the next 2 days on the bog, but this place manages it with flying colours. I will definitely be back.
Overall, it was a good experience that I'd recommend for doubles to families with kids. Good variety of food that should serve everyone's tastes. As a vegetarian, I can say that the food was good, but the only one that wowed me was the pizza, which was made fresh in front of everyone. Service was excellent, and I watched them give that same service to everyone. Cash only, which was a bit weird but not too much of an annoyance in the centre of town.
First visit with family, and I wasn't disappointed . Wow, what a selection of wonderful food and plentiful. Something here for everyone. Great atmosphere. Friendly Staff . Lovely decor for a relaxing time . We'll with a visit .
Food was pretty good, with quite a lot of choice. The place was nearly empty, so wasn't much atmosphere. Drinks were brought quickly. More expensive than i thought it would be, but overall, a nice eatery.
Was there with my German and Uganda friends ( what a mix) we had a king’s ransom of food . I myself enjoyed the incredible cuisine that was provided by the people of the country. My Ugandan friend enjoyed the sushi and chilli it was splendid. My German friend did not enjoy the experience to much as he had a little to much of red wine and was vomiting at a good rate of knots
In all honesty I think the difference between Michelin starred and the food we got served was in proportion to the quality and quantity we were expecting to receive
Formerly Jimmy Chungs when I last visited, the layout is similar but it's now a world buffet with pizza, macaroni, sushi and still plenty of Chinese options.
Styling was pretty interesting and stuff were very friendly and upfront about costing and time limits.
The deserts were done fantastically in my opinion, cut up into little bitesize chunk which is a stroke of genuine since by the end of your buffet you're too stuff to manage lots of dessert but still want to try it all.
Today was my first time in this type of restaurant, where you pay once and get unlimited food. I paid £23 for Dinner and drink. I was expecting that food will be dry and I was right, but for what you pay it's worth it. I was there just by myself, but I think this restaurant is perfect for meeting with friends or family, because you can spend hours talking and trying food you never had before, you get unlimited refils on drinks too.
Maryland chicken is amazing and taste like KFC strips, highly recommend trying.
A place where it can be all you can eat. The food is delicious, and you can eat your fill to your hearts content. They serve all sorts from sweet and sour chicken and pork to fresh real sushi. They even have pizza, curries, rice, and even fresh duck pancakes.
Food was mainly good. Good selection. Some dishes lacked in taste especially the Korma. Remember to have cash , as they don't accept card payment.
The food was good, a lot of options to choose from, I recommend their chicken dishes.
The Asian manager needs to be fired ( I’m not sorry). Was rude to me and my family , speaks to the waiting staffs in a very condescending manner , he lacks the professionalism to manage that place.
