We love the vibe. Super friendly staff, a warm welcome, and Cairn O'Mohr wine/cider!! The food is vegan style American diner food. It's very well done but not my thing. I'd love me some rice and veggies! Some soup or a stew! Spuds 🌟 I love their pickles though such a good fried gherkin. Not heavily battered. Good job!! 👍

Amazing venue. I'd never been before, and I must have looked very confused as to where to go, so a man nicely pointed in the right direction to where the bands were playing. Not very huge amount of floor space, but it managed to fit in a lot of people who were there to see Volcano X doing their first tour. Plenty seating. Pretty awesome and unique decor. Really loved it

Astounding 100% vegan venue, including all the alcohol - burgers, dirty fries, hot dogs, poutine, and a couple of sweet options to eat-in or take away. Service is punctual, price isn't steep compared to similar (non-vegan) venues, and it has a pleasingly warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere, helped in large part by superb staff. Both the Bar and the Basement host assorted music gigs and organisational meetings. Pub quiz on Wednesday nights is one of the most competitive in Dundee.

Wonderful friendly helpful staff. Amazing food. The Captain Ahab is incredible and the poutine glorious. Really good choice of drinks. Great atmosphere, my kinda music and so welcoming. There’s all sorts of things happening every night. I absolutely love this place. Can’t recommend highly enough……Go!!!

New favourite restaurant in town! Was looking forward to checking out Rad apples and the food and warm welcome are definitely worth shouting about! The vegan menu is impressive and has a great variety, we had the fabulous Dirty Mac Burger (covered in Mac n Cheese!) the fried pickles (amazin), a classic hotdog, oh, and the tofu fish burger, all rounded off with a S'mores pie with toasted marshmallows 👌....for two vegetarians and a meat eater, the food was delicious, really top notch! There's small bites, burgers & dawgs, sides, deserts (all 100% vegan and 100% tasty), water provided for the table and and a really great drinks menu. The staff were all friendly/chatty and attentive, there was a nice chilled atmosphere and up front you can browse through a record/cd distro, pick up some anarchist literature or check out some radical books. This place is a gem in Dundee's streets. Not been to Conroy's basement (downstairs music venue) for years but I intend to stop by at one of the shows asap! Really can't say enough, definitely worth a visit 5*
