Had a quick pint to see the atmosphere and was met by friendly staff who were willing to assist with the help I needed.

Very friendly family oriented pub.
It's run by Greene King so the range is fairly standard but it means when you're catering for vegetarians and people with allergies it's reliably safe.
The staff are really very friendly, chatty, and bend over backwards to help out.
Live music and quizzes in the evenings apparently, and there's also a wheelchair
accessible car park.
