This was amazing best night during our stay in durham. The food was so good I ate more than I had in weeks. My husband being vegan had vegetable masala and I had tikka chicken both had a nan, and a side dish. We wanted to go again. Only criticism I would give is the waiter was a little too chatty for my liking but he was charming and think this was part of his personality.

Amin's Spice was recommended when we were staying at The Cottage, Hilltop Stables, and the meal we had delivered was delicious. Friendly and helpful service on the phone, easy payment by app/link, and it came hot and slightly earlier than expected. If we were closer, we'd definitely be ordering again!

Curried are pretty nice, menu is good with plenty of different dishes. The korma was a bit weird. Only complaint is the price point - quite small portions for something so expensive. Takeaway for 2 people costs 50 quid, can eat out for that. Still one of my favourites in the area - I like their daal a lot. Naans could be much bigger, starters could be bigger also.

I had the lamb biryani which i asked if i could have it little spicy also opted for a tarka dall instead of traditional curry sauce which complimented it well. I was actually surprised as i havent had a decent one in a very long time, kudos to the chef.

The staff were exceptionally friendly. The food was good and nicely cooked. We were not aware that alcohol was not available but had coke instead. My only complaint was the price which was nothing like the prices shown in the menu. £4.50 just for the pickle tray and £9.00 for the two cokes seems a bit excessive.

The staff are very friendly and always willing to help you decide on the best combinations of food.
If you want to try a very hot curry, then give the toofan a try. It is definitely one of the hottest I have tried.
