Great experience, ordered mixed grill and everything was cooked to perfection.
Service from Andrew was next to none, everything came fast and could have not asked for anything better. Andy gave service with a smile and was very friendly, offering to take photos etc. Thanks to the team!

Brilliant breakfast and fantastic staff after we had not such a great experience in the company's other chain pub at the other side of Durham. The staff at broomside couldn't have Bern more friendly or helpful. The 4 stars for atmosphere was nothing to do with the venue but a family with a large amount of kids were just letting them run around the place which is not fair on other dinners

Had an evening meal here, friendly efficient service, our food came after a short wait , we both chose sirloin steak from the set menu and it was cooked to our liking and really tasty, starters and dessert were spot on too, although they became very busy during our meal we didn't wait too long between courses 👍

My husband and I both had the Steak Sampler which consisted of a 4oz fillet, a 4oz rump and also 4oz sirloin. We asked for them to be cooked medium and they were so juicy and tender. They also came with a peppercorn sauce, mushrooms, roasted tomato, onion rings and triple cooked chips. This is the second time we have had them and most certainly won’t be the last. Staff were efficient and friendly even in busy times as it was tonight on a Saturday evening.

Helen and michelle and kitchen staff went out the way to help our daughter who has a gluten allergie and put together a meal that was safe for her. They double checked menu to make sure all food was safe for our daughter.
Pleasent atmosphere and great service from staff.

First time and it won't be the last. Food was excellent. The staff were amazing. We tried the Mocktails and they were so good. A lovely family friendly feel, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Really clean and tidy too. Thank you

We've eaten in a few beefeater restaurants and this is generally better than most. However, today I ordered loaded fries to go with my burger but didn't get them, just the standard fries you get anyway. No biggy I thought, I'm still getting fries with my burger. But when we got the bill, we had been charged for them. Not a massive expense but shoddy service if nothing else

Great food especially the steaks and dessert 🍨.
Price is reasonable. We can have the Meal Duel in the Premier Inn, Durham East and enjoying the Dinner and Breakfast combos at £25.99 only.
