Cafe Capriccio is in the centre of Durham city centre. It is well located and is a great place to people watch whilst drinking a delicious cup of coffee. Dan is super friendly and made the experience worth while. If you want brilliant service, a friendly chat and great coffee and cannoli, come here!!!

Love this cafe, it's very reasonably priced, I have visited a few times over the past 2 years. Coffee tastes soooo much better than big brands like Costa, Starbucks, Pret a Manger, etc.! The almond croissant is delightful, great sweet snack …

Very comfortable seating and very good atmosphere. Very friendly staff with fast service and amazing food for good prices. The staff are also very helpful and understanding when handling food for vegetarians and make sure no meat contact is made. 10/10 highly recommended

We stopped in for a coffee and stayed for breakfast. Both the coffee and Smash Browns were delicious. The owner was just opening up when we arrived, and was very accomodating and friendly. We're now planning to go back for lunch or dinner to try the ravioli.
