We have been to the Duke of Wellington today for a meal. Lovely pub, lovely atmosphere, well decorated, and great food. My little boy was a bit dysregulated and ended up pushing his plate of food off the table after just getting it. The staff were amazing and gave him a new meal without hesitation. Thank you 😊 …

We think the Duke of Wellington is one of the best places to eat in the Durham area. Fair prices, good food, great staff and dog friendly. Nice atmosphere. Good menu, with daily specials. Quick service. Plenty of parking spaces.
We had the Seabass last time which was delicious.

Food was really nice, and good sized portions. Staff were friendly and welcoming, came straight away to clean our table from the people who had just left. Nice, busy but friendly, comfortable pub. Definitely going back again
