I ordered the vegetable plate and it was fantastic and delicious. I got cabbage, sweet potatoes, string beans, and potato salad. The vegetables were very filling and had that down south flavor to your palate satisfaction. The hush puppies were huge and very tasty. This meal was very satiating. I ordered the large banana pudding. That banana pudding melted in your mouth with every spoonful. It was so perfectly sweetened to perfection, with the right amount of creaminess and cookies melded together in your mouth. I thoroughly enjoyed this meal.

Visited today for lunch and I appreciate the excellent customer service! The food is delicious. They didn’t have fat back today, but I probably didn’t need it either. Thank you for the consistency. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

My 2 stars is NOT for the taste of the food at ALL ! The food was amazing!!! HOWEVER , firstly the sanitation score is 94.5 which is scary within itself secondly the guy that was handing the food out " Michael '' was kind of rude , customer's would ask him '' how are you doing'' he says ''good' in a matter of fact sort of way , then the girl in front of me he apparently knew , he asked her to choose the exact piece of chicken and he gave her the biggest one in the batch , then I ask for baked chicken, he didn't ask me he just actually took his time to choose the SMALLEST pieces of chicken he could ,MOVING the biggest piece and giving me the smallest one . So... THE MORAL OF THIS STORY , I will NOT be back . When they first reopened I thought the BBQ was tasteless so I wanted to give it another chance and they lost it.

The can get my money every time!!! Stopped here in between class and the food was so good! The fried chicken!!!! Cmon somebody!
But the CAKE! I got the carrot cake and didn’t eat it till I got home….. WHO MADE THIS CAKEE!?! 😂 it’s so good! I’m coming back!

My goodness this is a gem! I drive Uber and ran across this place. It was so good! Whiting fish with Mac n Cheese, hush puppies and cole slaw. Fish is fresh and piping hot with sides seasoned like grandma made it. The beautiful Queen at the front is that Auntie you love. She said try a sample of our cabbage too. I’ll be back. But she already knew it haha

They have some really good meat plates with 2 veggies. I got the pork chops with Rice and Green Beans and it was really good. It wasn’t more than like $7 or $8 if I can recall but it was some really good food that is worth it.

Best Mac and cheese!!
Mashed potatoes and gravy tasted like fresh potatoes from the ground! Just the right balance of creaminess and butter!
Chopped bbq was good as well, it was more of a vinegar base but the bbq sauce on the side was a good thicker sweeter sauce to add!

After 5:00pm. Waitress was overwhelmed. Had been working all day and complained to everyone. Rib tasted spoiled. Macaroni and cheese looked foreign. Refused to go back. I'll try again when they hire more people.
