Nice atmosphere at our visit. Quite busy with a wide age range. No children which suited us. Great drinks choice and extremely reasonably priced.

This is a pub with a great atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon! There is the Musicians Unlimited Big Band playing all the classics, with very good musicians. The bar is stocked well with plenty of choice and had a good layout. You have that feeling of a traditional northern pub. Also check the pictures on the wall as whoever chose them has a good eye for expressive art.
