Enjoyed a superb afternoon here this Bank Holida Monday. And, as always, it was the staff that made the venue for all of us customers. Thank you.
Booked as a venue for a wake. Emma and team did an amazing job. Couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating with special diets - there was plenty of food and it was all really tasty. So welcoming and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this pub.
We 'popped' in for a quick beer. What a nice pub. Really genuine friendly service. Good real ales. I like American pale ales but the Charles Wells bombardier was excellent. They have dining in a separate dining facility which we didn't try but judging by the general ambiance and great service I would be keen to try.
To think this used to be one of my locals, young lady behind the bar was pleasant and polite, I couldn't stop noticing the bright LED lights around bar area? , what used to be the snug seams to have gone . …
