Excellent place for lunch, nice and modern. Shop and restaurant/cafe is lovely. Lovely staff with smiles all around. Very busy during mine time of visit (12pm) start of lunch. Lots of staff. Sat out in the conservatory area which is very nice, however sun is very hot when directly on you, and bees around the table area which is understandable. Small menu to choice from. Food is very nice, small portions and little overpriced. Would visit again for sure. Excellent parking available on the barn.

Lovely place for an impromptu lunch ! Dog friendly with heated seating area undercover ! Food was delicious and freshly cooked, not a huge selection and quite pricey though. Area outside for children to play, plenty of parking and a shop too. Would visit again.

Stopped for breakfast. Food was good. I had french toast with bacon and maple syrup. Bit on the pricey side - it does have a captive market from the nearby campsites and holiday parks. Lots of seating inside, in a conservatory and outside too. Space outside for kids to play. Interesting shop attached with lots of great produce from chocolate and fudge to pizzas and gifts, books and even a Mersea Island stick of rock. Good sized parking area outside.
