Rodmill

I have been coming to the Rodmill pretty much weekly the last two months and it continues to astound me just how incredible the staff cohort is. Despite working long shifts or multiple jobs, they still manage to always be so warm and kind with an exemplary approach to service. Regardless who is serving you, be it Julie, Connie, Heidi, Lisa or Nikki, their service never falters beyond excellent and I continue to pick my brain how they manage to maintain this so consistently in all of my visits. It should also be mentioned that whilst chef, Callum, resumes a back of the house job in the kitchen, and always maintains a high standard in the food that he produces and continues to maintain the high standard of customer service when he appears front of house to say hello every now and then. The Rodmill stands out amongst so many other pubs primarily because of it's superb approach to hospitality, but additionally its warm and vibrant atmosphere and inexpensive menu - three courses for £6.99? I mean? How? Thank you for always doing such a great job. It hasn't gone unnoticed!

Had an amazing evening at the Rodmill. We were greeted by a lovely young lady called Lisa D. She took our order and was extremely friendly and welcoming. Our food was served by Connie and again she couldn’t do enough for us. Food was lovely atmosphere was also great. It’s an all round great place to eat and drink. All the staff are always friendly.

We booked a late table of 16 knowing that it would be a bit of a push (due to family illness), but thank you so much for looking after us, great food, hospitality and service again. (Nothing was too much trouble and handled our large party easily) We will be back again Many thanks Paul, judi and family 😁 Lovely friendly pub, we had a beautiful meal there well presented and nice and hot whilst visiting family. Thank you we’ll be back 😄

I went for my first visit on a Friday evening. This was for a leaving do. The staff were very friendly despite the pub being very busy. A smile means a lot, and even though they could not serve everyone immediately the important thing is they made eye contact. I would visit again (although probably not on a Friday evening!)

We had a fabulous family meal here with 6 adults and 3 children. The pub easily caters for large party's and all the staff even sang a wonderful happy birthday when our cake was brought out. The food, as always was delicious and of a high standard. Pictured is the Philly Steak and I absolutely loved it. Would highly recommend 🙂
