Food wise this place is amazing if you like chicken. Food arrived correctly and quickly. The arcade games were a nice touch.
Would have given 5 stars but compulsory service (10%) was added at checkout. Did not see this on the menu when ordering but have attached photos of the menu to compare.
Would rather pay 10% more on menu price than be mugged when it comes to pay
Love the fact chicken is free range - that is why it's not cheap as other reviewers mention but for me it's worth it. 4 stars for free range chicken.

Food was not super hot when served and also my burger came out kind of squashed? Anyway the dips were AMAZING as was the snickers milkshake!
First time eating In at the Book Shop, really spacious and some nice graphics and decor. Food was amazing, they have a great vegan selection. A good place to either eat in or get a takeaway if your trying to find somewhere that caters for all without compromising quality. Would recommend the fried pickles.
The five stars are definitely deserved here.

Location is ideal, inside the Beacon mall on the first floor near Nando’s. Take the elevators up from Chi and take a left. The wings are amazing and the service was great. Although the server misheard our order and got the chicken tenders instead of wings, after informing them they got us the right order. Staff are polite and prices are reasonable. Must try!!
Had a great Vegan meal. The satay burger was brilliant and the Katsu fries were also delicious, but the show stopper was the Frickles! So great to see such easily available Vegan options, will be coming back.
I came to The Book Shop after a lot of hype about it and it did NOT disappoint! The food was awesome, the staff were lovely, the menu was brilliant and the whole brand aesthetic was spot on. Get to The Bok Shop ASAP!
Simply amazing, made the meal vegan and it was the best burger I've had hands down, that includes both meat and plant based burger. Me and my wife haven't been able to stop talking about it and already planning our next trip.
At first I was a little sceptical about whether this restaurant was located right (seeing as Nando’s is just opposite), however I was delighted by the place. The decor is tidy, very trendy and has a good use of materials, the staff are helpful and fashionable, the background music is very current and even a little edgy. But the best thing by far is the food. I have to say that I think the chicken burger I had is one of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted. The chicken was succulent, yet crispy where it was needed, the sauce was lovely with a distinct, but not overwhelming, taste and the bun brought it all together in a nice manageable package. The desert was also quite a treat! I look forward to my return and highly recommend!!
The food is really good, full of flavour. It is quite expensive for the size portion you get, but as the food is really rich so you don't need too much. Staff are nice and the food is produced efficiently. The two things that made me mark down from 5 stars was because I had to look at a dirty stained rag behind my wife the entire time I was there and the service charge was on the bill whether they deserved it or not. I can understand if there is a big party to deal with as timing the dishes to come out at the same time is not easy, but it was just me and my wife. To tip is the customers decision not the vendor this really annoys me.
