Such a warm and friendly welcome. We stopped by for a late Sunday dinner and they couldn't do enough to help us. Great food, large portions, we left very full! Will definitely return when in the area. (Recommend the nachos and the steak pie)

Lovely staff here. Very helpful and always smiling. The food here is lush! Definitely worth a visit. Has parking, which is ideal for the location. Kid and dog friendly.

Visited today with the family and 2 dogs, was a lovely atmosphere. We were all a bit baffled as to why the roast dinners were served in a bowl as made it a little more difficult to cut than on a plate. Nice food, friendly staff but was a fair wait for food to arrive.
Overall a nice experience and the pub has had a great refurb and turn around to what it used to be.

By far the best Veggie/Vegan selection in and around Eastbourne. Meat eaters were very happy with their meals too.
Thoughtful team (grizzly 2 year old) did all they could to make everyone's experience a good one.
Fair prices. Good selection. Carpark. Big garden.

Not one person in our group of 7 had anything bad to say about the food which is a miracle! There's plenty of room for people to spread out: garden, conservatory and bars. All staff were pleasant and friendly. Definitely worth a return visit.

Since this place was taken over and totally revamped, it's never looked better.
Nice atmosphere, great food and drink. That's all you can ask for in a pub!
Good transport links nearby to seaside, with convenient and regular buses, if you don't fancy driving.

With my mum we had a great experience visiting during lunchtime. Firstly, the pub smelled of clean, which you cannot really tell about many others 😉 and the service was excellent, from being greeted with a big smile to the service at the table which was superb! We had mash and sausages, roast beef with potatoes and a portion of cheese cauliflower. Everything was delicious and the poetions were huge so we couldn't finish... we will definitelly visit again if in the area!
