Great pub, popular with motorcyclists, right by the River Mersey. Always a great atmosphere.

1st went in 1979 ,biker then,gave up bikes in 2017 due to health, cracking atmosphere especially summer evenings sat outside

Good atmosphere. Events are held quite often in the beer garden. Views across the mersey. Food is simple and cheap, just what you want with a drink.
