The most memorable part of my trip to Edinburgh. The music was excellent and the staff were so friendly it brought a tear to me eye. Big community atmosphere. If you respect the musicians and want to make some friends, this is the best spot in the city!
The loveliest little folk music pub! I always make sure to visit whenever I'm in Edinburgh. Staff is always friendly, and there's usually a good mix of locals and tourists. There are live music sessions daily, often open ones where people are encouraged to sing a tune or perform something in general. Always worth a visit!
Highlight of my trip to Edinburgh! Stopped in for music on a Thursday evening. The crowd of regulars were very welcoming and the musicians were top notch, rotating and jumping in and out for one hell of a jam session
This is 5/5 place You have to visit! If You're looking for a pint of good beer with accompaniment of folk music, You simply can not miss this place! Every time I'm in Edinburgh, I visit this pub. See You there! :)
Visted from Ireland. A lovely little boozer with an unplugged trad sessions. Everyone being quiet and respectful. We enjoyed our few pints and the Bar lady couldn't do enough for us. If a quiet trad session is not your thing go somewhere else.
