Rather expensive for the quality of food. Service and atmosphere was lovely however the standard of the sirloin steak was poor. Had much better steak elsewhere with much better value. Steak was tough, not tender enough. Burger was average, nothing to make it stand out in such a renowned restaurant. Overall a lot of money for average quality.

The service was excellent, the food very good and the ambiance was fine. My only concern is that the prices on the menu are a bit high for what it is - a chain hotel restaurant - although ’deals’ seem to be readily available (we were on one) making it decent value. Well situated so might find an excuse to go back.

Absolutely fabulous! I had the curry and my husband had a steak. Couldn't fault anything. Staff pleasant and efficient. Pity the bar in the Hilton wasn't the same. Wanted to finish thr meal with a coffee and brandy but bartenders didn't seem to know what they were doing and that was with very few people in the bar!

The restaurant is within the Carlton Hotel. The chef made my granddaughter and I the best steaks we have had. My granddaughter had a sirloin and for me a rib eye both medium done. Beautifully charred on the outside and melt in the mouth inside. Service was professional and also friendly. We'll be back for more for sure.

Really lovely food, cooked to perfection, and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. I would have given 5 stars but for the fact that we ate around 8.30pm and when our food arrived we were the only diners in the restaurant. This would't have been a problem but for the fact that the restaurant manager was directing his staff to clear the tables around us (even the ones directly next to us) and reset them for breakfast. He then kept checking on the progress of us eating our food, and I might add, not very discretely either! We felt pressured to eat quickly and leave. It completely ruined what should have been a relaxed and convivial dining experience. Such a shame.
