Such a great visit over lunch, can’t wait to go back when hungrier to try some bigger items. Fun space and amazing, warm service. Met the owners and some of their fam and they’re clearly super passionate about what they do. Would definitely recommend!

The food we ordered was really delicious. This punjabi restaurant has a very good ambience and clean setup. A bonus you can enjoy is punjabi songs! ☺️

The best meal I had in Edinburgh. The spices, portion sizes and service were so next level it was fantastic. I felt welcomed, and served high quality food.

Friendly and welcoming staff, great pakoras. They brought water for the dog in a proper dog bowl. We enjoyed every minute.

Incredible experience. Starting with the mind blowing immigrant dream story of the owners to the friendly service and most of all the perfectly flavourful and uniquely delicious food - this place has become one of my top finds not just in Edinburgh but this entire country. Highly recommend the veg haggis pakoras and the secret off menu aalu tikki chat which is better than what you’d find in Delhi. 12/10

More than just Pakoras but the vegetable pakoras are the best I’ve ever tasted. I visited here 3 days ago and had the Lamb Curry, fantastic. I had to come back this time trying the Butter Chicken, outstanding! It’s not just the food and the atmosphere that’s great, this is truly a family run restaurant. 3 Brothers run the restaurant but Mum and Dad are there too. I had the pleasure of talking with John, the Dad behind the Restaurant, such a pleasure. So, take a walk down from all the tourist traps and check this place out. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Truly authentic Indian/Punjabi food!!! The chole bhature was just like I remember it tasting from when I lived in Delhi, and this is something I haven’t been able to find in a menu in Scotland! The staff were all so lovely and very excited to talk about their menu and culture. Would highly recommended this restaurant :) (lots of veggie/vegan options aswell)

7 STARS!! 5 is not enough to capture what I experienced! This was probably the best Punjabi food I have had in years! We liked the food so much that we visited the place 2 times out of our 3 days in Edinburgh, and took food with us for the journey back to London. We tried their Veg Mix pakoras, Paneer Kathi Roll, Punjabi Kadhi Pakora curry, Chole Bhatura, Rajma Chawal, Ras Malai and Massala Chai from the menu, and Aloo Tikki Chaat from the hidden menu! I have no idea what was in the Veggie Haggis, or, that you can make pakoras out of Aubergine! They were freshly made and didn't even need a chutney. The Kadhi Pakora was one of the best I've ever tasted! These people know their spices! The Aloo Tikki Chaat was so fresh and cooked beautifully! (Ask for Veeru for this secret item when you go to the restaurant) The Chole Bhature, Massala Chai and Paneer Kathi Roll were fantastic! We really enjoyed talking to the owners! We are definitely coming back! Thank you for the homely experience!

All I can say is wow!! Went in for the first time tonight. Mark took the time to guide us thru an amazing dinner experience. We laughed, and ate, and had a fantastic time. Definitely the best meal of the trip! Thank you Pakora, you are all so lovely.

We had a lovely lunch stop here. Great Indian flavours and good prices. Off the tourist trail, which we like. Very close to King Arthur’s seat walk. Staff very friendly and chatty.
