Impeccable dining experience! The service was top notch, and we were even given a complimentary glass of Prosecco for a reservation mishap. Service was very efficient and friendly. They offer plenty of vegetarian options. The food was absolutely delicious!!

The Cellar Door is truly a taste of Scotland, located in the heart of Edinburgh. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff were all very welcoming and the food was incredible! Especially hearing that the venison was locally sourced, we had to try it and it was 10/10.

Excellent food, service and ambiance. We had the tasting menu with matching wine. All of us enjoyed it... even those not sure about haggis! Not cheap but worth it for a treat.

Was very excited for the 6 course tasting menu and loved that there were drinks paired with it! Will happily come here again and I recommend it to friends too!

Excellent food! This was my favorite stop in Edinburgh and I feel lucky that we got to eat here. The bread was soft and the butter tasty, the tomatoes were the best and the fish I had was buttery soft! The servers were really attentive and polite. Definitely recommend and would come back.

Very nice authentic Scottish restaurant. The service was perfect and the waitress was so sweet with our little baby. Even the owner stopped by our table for a wee chat. Everyone was very welcoming and the food was incredibly good!

Absolutely fantastic! Everything about this restaurant was 5*. All the staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient, even though the restaurant was busy, they still had time to answer questions about the menu. The menu was modern, quirky Scottish and utterly delicious. Everything my husband and I had was just a delight and we loved the whole experience.
We would totally recommend you try this restaurant, it is an absolute gem.

The food was lovely! We had Smoked Salmon Mousse, Ribeye Steak, Spring Green Risotto, and Toffee dessert. I saw a few reviews saying that the food was bland, but to us it was just right :)

Had a fantastic meal with a group of friends.
The haggis parcel & venison were spectacular. As was the Primitivo, it went very well with the haggis. Then I think we had a Sancerre which made an ideal light wine.
