Nice Italian place right on the royal mile. Is the food amazing - no, is it good enough- yes. We tried the pasta and make your own pizza which was good.
Wouldn’t recommend this place for celebrating anything, more of a regular Italian restaurant.

Really pleased with my experience at Gordon’s. The service was very quick and the food was even quicker. Really tasty and good quality food, priced very reasonably I would say as a student lol. The banoffee pie was by far the best dessert I think I’ve ever had! Had a good chat with the staff who were keen to help. Can’t understand the negative reviews at all! Some of the reviews mention sushi and curry which aren’t even served at this Italian! Will definitely be going back 😊

The food was great but not perfect. To be fair the waiters can be regarded as a bit ‘arrogant’ according to UK standards- where people are usually too kind. Atmosphere was quite stunning with the old town’s view:) Pesto tagliatelle recommended.

Delicious food and very friendly staff. Only downside was they forgot all about our appetisers which they did bring later on while we were having mains so the bruschetta got a bit soggy while waiting to be eaten :/. Regardless, Id definitely come here again!!

We had a delicious dinner here, I would recommend this place! The staff was very friendly and worked hard for their guests. The pizza was delicious, the pizza-base was fluffy in a very good way. The risotto was a bit fatty, but nonetheless very tasty!

Excellent setting on the Royal Mile. We sat in the glorious sun and had lovely authentic Italian to fuel us up for the rest of the sightseeing. Great service too!

Wonderful restaurant in Edinburgh! We tried their food and I think it was an authentic and delicious Italian cuisine! Great service and atmosphere as well, the staff was helpful and informative to us. Really excellent!

Really enjoyable atmosphere and delicious pasta at Gordon's. We ordered the pasta of the day, and it was a good portion and very tasty. Nice vegetarian options available. We'd gladly come back here.
