Food was excellent and at a fair price. The staff seemed a bit disinterested, but had a great experience nonetheless. Will definitely be coming back here. I had the garlic chicken and the lamb bhuna. Both were excellent.

The menu has an ample array of dishes to choose from, including a few intriguing specials. Chicken pakora were made fresh and a decent portion. Wouldn't have minded a little more sauce and salad. I like how you can order mains as tapas sized plates, as well as mains to tried the Railway Lamb an Lahori Channay. The lamb was tender and mildly spiced with a tasty sauce, but felt it was quite a small portion even if it was a tapas plate, this amplified by the fact there was a few more pieces of chicken in the North Indian garlic chicken dish we ordered. The chicken dish was very good with tons of garlic flavour and a rich sauce. The garlic naan was pretty average. The Lahori Channay was delicious and a more pleasing size.

On our 2 day trip to Edinburgh, Roti restaurant came in handy to depend on our favourite Indian food. The hospitality of staff, the flavour of food and the convenience to reach here was a blessing. Thank you team at Roti for making our experience memorable.
