@ James Davies, as the patron who was sitting at the bar and overheard your conversation with the bar staff, I would like to point out that your attitude and general conduct are not welcome in public establishments where Adults are in the majority. Watching a grown man speak to a lady the way you did is nothing short of abhorrent. Your review, I feel, is more about social impotence on your part rather than bad service... Our golf group stopped in for munch and 30 or so holes of golf across the street on a recent trip to The Open Championship. The meal was WONDERFUL, the beer was ide cold and nobody complained about the Whiskey or the Gin so that speaks volumes. The golf across the street was entertaining and definitely added to it being a memorable stop for all. Well worth the effort to get there- ENJOY!

Spent a lovely few hours here in this relaxed atmospheric pub. Really friendly staff, willing to help and converse. Nice range of interesting beers and some seriously delicious cocktails! Food was really excellent, limited menu meant good quality, freshly cooked variations of modern pub grub. Can't recommend enough! Ps dog friendly too!
