On a recommendation from my boyfriend's colleague, we ordered Street Box as our Sunday night takeaway.
The menu has a lot of great options but I decided to try the Kaeng Daeng curry and the coconut rice. I loved it! The curry was just the right spiciness and the coconut rice was the perfect accompaniment. I did think that there were too many vegetables compared to chicken, but the flavours were great. My boyfriend had the Pad Thai which he thoroughly enjoyed; we ate everything!
I will definitely order from Street Box again, as it tasted extremely fresh and had a great kick!

Although this place is set up mainly for take-away, they've done a great job at setting up a warm feeling sit in area.
Loads of vegetarian options for us to try - we went for the kee maow pak and one of the milder tofu curries. Both... The kee maow pal had a good chilli kick though, not for those that don't like hot food too much... Though we loved it!
Staff at the desk were really friendly and smiley. Will defo be back

I ate here a few weeks ago with my other half. We decided to sit in at the one table in the place. Bit odd seeing most folk are getting takeaway but it works. Food was spot on. Nice and spicy. Friendly staff too. What more do you want.

I recently went for the second time to Street Box and, I have to say, the food ranks among the very best Thai food I’ve ever eaten. The drunken noodles were particularly delicious, with all the heat and rich flavour you’d want from this dish. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the service is fast - all of our food arriving within minutes. Street Box is a true hidden gem of Edinburgh - I can’t recommend it enough!

Tasty food. We got the crispy fried tofu and the prad kra pao with steamed rice. Tasty but wish portions were a little bigger. All in all good place for lunch.

Absolutely wonderful. There are like 3 tables so it is meant for takeout. The food was fantastic and was the most affordable we found in the area. I had the pad Thai and my girlfriend had the massaman curry. It was some of the best Thai I have had since being in the country.

Very tasty Thai food. Good selection of starters and main dishes. Vegetarian options available. Very friendly staff. The place is quite small with only a few tables, so you need a bit of luck to get space in peak hours. Takeaway is another option.

Experienced a real taste of Thailand with the red Thai curry, egg fried rice and authentic iced tea. You really should take time to sample this hidden delight. Looking forward to the next visit.

Had the Thai Red Curry tonight. Absolutely delicious. I’ve been to Thailand a few times and this is just as good, if not better than over in Thailand. If you want authentic, delicious Thai food this is the place to come.

Superrr good authentic thai food! If you ask spicy they will come spicy as you eat in Thai, so brace yourself. I was suprise because the Pad thai and the Tom yum was awesomee
