First visit

Sat night in Scott’s. Beautiful location. Inside restaurant very modern with industrial decor. Food Fabulous and reasonably priced. Great circular bar with lovely bar seats. Little cosy tables for two. Great views of the bridges. Staff all very young going to college they were all so lovely and friendly had time for everyone - nothing was too much trouble. Ask for a window seat.

A lovely place to walk through or just sit and relax for a bit with a good book!! Very pleasant with the trees and plants in flower, their scent was traveling on the breeze. You wouldn’t think you were in the middle of a big city!

Great place to sit and relax after walking around the city. You can see the Edinburgh castle below, very scenic park and very well maintained. Also, toilets are available around the park so if you need to have a bladder break after walking then you can do it here😀lots of open grass for you to sit or lie if the weather is good. Worth a visit and its a good phito opportunity for those who are keen

Great place to chill under the shadow of Edinburgh Castle. Little park for the kids too. Beautiful flower beds throughout. Nice and close to the Train Station if you want to chill before catching your train

Princes Street Gardens is a large public open space right next to Princes Street. The park is beautiful and clean, from there you can enjoy stunning views of the Old Town skyline above, including Edinburgh Castle. I highly recommend this place to seat, enjoy the view and have a picnic.

The place to be in Edinburgh. Pleasant walks with the iconic castle in the backdrop. A glass of Pims or a cone of ice cream by the fountain in this marvellous garden on a nice sunny day is invigorating and relaxing. Postcard holiday vibes! P. S: The gulls are fearless, aggressive and can be a nuisance if one is eating. Well, the earth does belong to everyone!

Even on the moat bitterly cold days there is always things to see on the west end of the centre in The Princes Street Gardens from the stunning Ross Fountain, the mortonhall baby ashes memorial to Wojtek Statue. The gardens when unoccupied by the winter fair and additional vendors is stunning. Its lovely to wander round in such lovely surrounding right in the centre of the city. Worth a visit and wander around. Photo opportunities as well for those who are keen. Harry potter fans can also do a graveyard trail with characters from the films named after those nearby.

Great day out with the family, very picturesque walking through the park. The kids loved the funfair but not my wallet so much haha. Me and the missus had a Mulled Cider and a Whiskey Hot Chocolate, be warned it’s not a cheap day out but it is worth it although I did not agree with the dual pricing (you live on a Edinburgh postcode you got 20percent off the rides etc but had to show proof) but all in all great day out and had so much fun with my youngest in the Maze give it a try.
