Had a takeaway here today and the quality of the food was outstanding. Can highly recommend the rice boxes. I had eel teriyaki and my wife had chicken and we swapped bits. Best rice box I have ever eaten. Can recommend.
We ended up eating here twice in the same day as it was that good (not greedy, just have a good appetite �). The food is fresh and delicious, the staff are extremely welcoming, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. You can sit in or take away, but would recommend seating if you are able to. Fantastic place all round.
P.S. try the bubble tea �
Nice Milk Tea with Pearls, the staffs are firendly. The foods are tasty, not too much spice, nice. Located in the city centre, across the Old College and Chamber St.
This place is a nice find for vegetarians. Walking distance from Golden Mile, Bento is not a strictly vegetarian place (they also sell chicken and fish), Bento serves ready-made food - quite a fair bit of them are vegetarian and some are vegetarian without onions and garlic.
Their tofu bento (€8.50) offers great value (at least for Edinburgh old town) and is allium free (no onions, no garlic).Their miso soup is heavenly on cold days but slightly too salty for my taste & I find their bubble tea also too sweet (I usually drink my bubble tea with 0% sugar).
That said would recommend this place for friendly, fast (grab and go), value Japanese/Asian vegetarian meal in Edinburgh.
Salmon poke bowl was beautifully presented and included lovely touches such as sliced radish, seaweed salad, pickled radish, edamame beans and sticky rice at the bottom. Staff were attentive and friendly. Great place to go for lunch.
Ordered beef curry rice and salmon bao at this branch. Delicious both. And love the milk teas from every Bento Asian Food bars. For the price it’s decent enough.
A lovely quick lunch!! Lots of tasty vegan options both hot and cold, beautifully presented poke bowl.

Was interested in this place as soon as I saw they were opening!
The price is super cheap, the staff are absolutely lovely and were super helpful when an item I ordered was out of stock! (I LOVED the cute drawing thank you~)
The sushi tastes really fresh, and is very delicious and the matcha milk with egg pudding was SO tasty!! Everything from here is very reasonably priced as well!
Preparation and delivery time is super fast as well!
I genuinely think this has become my favourite Asian restaurant in Edinburgh!!

Generous bowl of freshly made terriyaki chicken and rice, washed down with orange blossom tea. Price reasonable and just what I needed on arrival into Edinburgh. Good service too.
Chicken Teriyaki rice bowl was very tasty. Nice rice, skin on chicken, really nice teriyaki sauce. Exactly what I wanted for a quick dinner passing by.
