Been to the Robins Nest a couple of times and I had the best fish I have had in ages. The reviews seem to be giving it a hard time, and for a pub meal it really was lovely. I went through to the bar and the guys through there were really friendly. The manager and bar staff really got involved with the guys behind the bar and were up for a bit of banter. Great combination of a local friendly pub that also serves some real quality food too.

No a bad pub place was booming, went there for a drink and some tidys came in mental night ended up roasting one of the dirties wi ma pal in the disabled toilets. Couldnae remember much after that but i woke up wi a sare arse and £40 up so i have to give it a 4 instead of 5.

Good Place. If you're looking for a nice little place to eat lunch in the Robins Nest is a great place to stop off at. They do good food overall and don't tend to make you wait longer than expected. A great family place.

First time at The Nest in a while. Family outing for Sunday lunch. Everyone enjoyed their food. Served quickly and nice and hot. Dishes were the gammon steak n pineapple and fish and chips. Reasonably priced compared to others in area. Bar staff chap was great and friendly. Sunny day so headed to nice beer garden at back. Will definitely be back soon!

We took our grandson for lunch on Tuesday 4th of July, the food and service were excellent, the meals were well presented and delicious. Our grandson enjoyed his fish and chips, followed by a substantial bowl of Ice cream... top marks to the Robins nest.

Food was lovely, served really quickly. Gabriel was excellent, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and also kept the children (and adults) entertained throughout our visit. Highly recommend.

We had a great time last night. Stopped in for a few drinks and a quick meal with friends. Bar staff funny and friendly! Great price! Will be back. Thanks so much!

I had a lovely reunion lunch with some uni friends at Robin's Nest. Food was very reasonably priced, delicious and fresh (I had a chicken wrap). Their portions were adequate too. Would definitely revisit if given the chance.

Food very freshly prepared,service very good, staff very attentive. We had a Groupon voucher but will be back as menu reasonably priced and good value for money. Wine very good value, not ripped off like some places.

Friendly and honest member of staff. I was charged twice and didn’t realise and the staff member came to our table to tell me. Food was delicious. Reasonably priced.

Staff are lovely, always friendly and accommodating. Great with us locals, always remember our order and names. Foods been wonderful recently! Andy, Jess an co are doing a great job.
