This place is very near our flat and for the past couple of years we have walked by thinking must try it sometime - then we went, and have returned twice in 2 weeks. Everything is very good indeed. The only thing I would say to it's detriment is that there are a lot of hard surfaces so it gets quite noisy/echoey. Just as well - I might become a permanent fixture !

Absolute gem of a place. Lovely food and cosy atmosphere. Fig roll (not pictured) was one of the most delicious pastries I’ve ever had!

A very cool, yet super welcoming place to stop for some calm from the festival. It's just off the South side of the Meadows, so it's easy to get right back into the festival vibe when your energy is restored. Big and airy space. Really excellent coffee and a delicious bun. Trusted friends recommend the food. Gender neutral toilets downstairs - pay attention or you could end up in a staff area as you pass a few doors and the signage is a bit subtle.

So, I've been trying a bunch of different cafes in Edinburgh the last two months, and I have to say that this was my favorite cafe, hands down. Batch brew is on point. But the food?!?! Come on. Delicious. I had a bit of time to do some work in the front of the cafe. Atmosphere is also beautiful!

The cafe is bright and airy with great knowledgeable staff. I had a cinnamon bun and oat latte which was prepared very quickly. The bun was really fluffy and fresh. I spent just over £7

I go there everyday to study and I love it! Even when you just get a coffee, they give you a bottle of water to keep hydrated, which is such a nice gesture! The staff offer great service, the coffee’s delicious, and the restaurant is very bright and clean. The small plates and brunch items are creative and well executed!

Minimalist meets Industrialism. The aesthetic is simultaneously calming and breathtaking. The food was delicious and the staff goes to arms length to serve the customer. Lastly they have a great taste. It fits perfectly with the ambient of the café. I can only recommend coming here. I will definitely be back soon.
