Ok so I went here, everything is battered, so being English they cooked me 3 sausage. They don't have gravy ! I had haggis, which was great, had red kola for the first time, overall a great chippy.

My last visit was 25 or so years ago(I know) It was excellent then as it was tonight . Piping hot ,not greasy and very tasty (Fish and King Rib suppers) and the delivery girl was was very pleasant 10/10 excellent.

The Bar B Que chipper was regular haunt when I was running about on my Fizzy sports moped in the late 70s. So imagine my horror when rocked up after spontaneous 168 mile drive from Castle Fraser , Aberdeenshire for a surprise visit to see my elderly parents - every mile focused on that chippy sauce that hasn't ventured as far north as Aberdeen - to park up and find they were locking up and the majority of the staff had jumped in their cars ready for home. I asked one of them where the next nearest chipper was and jokingly explained my disappointment after the drive. Turns out there was still a couple of staff in the shop and he opened up and made sure I was served. One very happy chappy!! So to every one at the Bar B Que thanks for going the extra mile. It brought back a lot of happy memories from my youth.

The best pizza ever!
I’m generally not a pizza fan and wouldn’t choose it on a menu, but every weekend, I take a few miles of a detour to get a 10” cheese pizza from the BBQ Chippie. They have light bases, a tomato sauce to die for, and a perfect amount of gooie cheese.
