Been coming to rapido every Saturday night around 2am with a workmate for as long as I remember , sometimes pizza , sometimes chicken burgers , sometimes just a coffee , but every time the staff are awesome , and the food and drink is spot on ... Great atmosphere at that time too with the tunes.

My brother and I went in looking for a half pizza and chips each, surprisingly they don't do half pizzas, so we split a whole one. A little unorthodox if you ask me but I suppose I'll have to move with the times.
Anyway after we placed our order we got increasingly concerned as the staff appeared to be cooking our pizza in an actual oven. We contemplated cancelling but persevered, and were glad we did when at last he finished it off in the fryer.
Out of the fryer and served in good time. Chippy sauce was up to scratch and the texture was an excellent balance of crisp on the outside and light and soft inside with just the right amount of fryer grease. Chips were also good.
Overall two thumbs up. 8/8 for the fried pizza, would definitely go back.
I know this place from 10years and it's still my favourite one. Best pizza in whole Edinburgh, with a looot of fresh topings on it, perfectly baked. Just love it. Customer service is always nice, fast and friendly. Recommend to everyone.
Very small for a quick lunch. 1 table with low seats and high stools at walls along small sides. I've been lucky it's been quiet when I go for a lunch break there approx 4 times a year for the last 2 years. Food really good and not overpriced but you only get thin plastic cutlery, not ideal for a baked potato.
I visited this place on my holiday in Edinburgh. Great calzone pizza, I can die for it! Really good chips and sausage but butter was little bit too taugh. Anyway it was very good experience. Recommend.
While visitng Edinburgh for the fringe festival & Tattoo in August 2007, I was VERY lucky to have found Rapido's quite by accident. As a traveller, I love to try local restaurants when I'm on the road, and I always try to eat someplace different each day. Rapido's was so good that I had lunch there 4 times in a week! The food is delicious, the value is great, the staff is friendly... You can't ask for more! You can get a huge order of fish and chips with a bottle of coke for under £6. The portions are enormous- I'm a big guy, and I rarely finished it all.
They have plenty of other food selections (including some great-looking deserts), but fish and chips was always my pick.
Possibly best pizza in Edinburgh, while living within their delivery area I was orderin from here on a regular basis. Now that I live out of town I find myself coming into town just to have a their pizza and then while I'm here I try to figure out what else I can do while in town...

Love this place. They have a wide variety of food.
Must try pizza, baked potatos, chicken wings/pakora.
Don't forget to grab a dessert on your way out, like jammy blondie, dime bar pie or Ben and Jerrys ice cream!
Cafe Rapido? More like cafe raslowdo.Took 1 hr for some chicken and chips, could have caught and eaten it in this time. Nor angry, just disappointed.
I joke, i joke love you guys serving me all day all night whenever wherever you rock.
