Amazing good food with East Asian influences was very delicious. Each dish had its own speciality and surprise. It was difficult to choose my favourite. I loved all the dishes I had there. Highly recommended. Definitely coming back to the restaurant soon.

Situated in Leith walk, Gulp Ramen, now called Mirin, offers the warmness and coziness with the food. Their noodle is quite firm compared to other ramen shop giving the new sensation. It’s chewable but harder. Tonkatsu is their signature dish which is very creamy but can be salty. The pork is good. The prices can be a little bit pricey. Booking the table in advance is a better choice as the shop is pretty small otherwise you might not get in. Also Its a Dog friendly restaurant , many customers bring their dogs here.

Cute cozy Japanese ramen shop. Enjoyed the small plates. The ramen was not my favourite, the broth was good but the charsiew wasn’t as authentic. Friendly service and cute interior. Has two tables outside for walk-ins.

Absolutely amazing. The pistachio crusted pigeon breast with black pudding and daikon might be the best thing I've ever eaten. Everything else was merely brilliant. Go here, you won't regret it.

Went to this wee place twice and both times I had the shoyu ramen. I loved the cooking point of the noodles, the crispy and flavoursome chicken and the perfect cooked egg. Even the pak choi is incredibly good, not the usual boiled veggie thrown in the broth. I found the broth too salty and I couldn’t finish it because of this, but that’s the only downside. Service is lovely too! Can’t wait to be back ☺️

For me, this place does the best ramen in Edinburgh! We got the hot chicken to share and the pork dumplings for starter. The hot chicken was so tasty, it had so much flavour and was so crispy (also it wasn’t too spicy). The dumplings were only just ok, nice flavour but not the best I’ve had. The ramen was the star of the show, we both got the Tonkotsu ramen. The broth had so much flavour and the combination of the chicken and pork was so good and I’ve never had this combo before. The egg was cooked to perfection and added a delicious creaminess to the bites I had with with. We got the two starters, two ramen and a bottle of wine and I think the bill came to about £35-£40 each. I can’t wait to go back and because it was just so good will probably have the same order again!

Honestly not sure why the bad reviews... We had a good time and the food was very good. Lovely service who care if you don't get your table on time, never felt rushed but keep in mind it's a tiny place so don't plan to sit and be talking for two hours while having ramen (why would you do that anyway 😅) Will definitely go back and try more food.

I’ve eaten ramen in a lot of different places but here is surely unique. Plus the dumplings, so good. Great work, extremely satisfying💖 very glad, we had a chance to taste it :)

I had dinner yesterday here, I could say that they serve the best ramen broth in Edinburgh. I ordered hot chicken ramen, it was so scrumptious. To be honest, I think the noodle is a little bit too chewy, but the have three different kinds of noodle, I will try the other two in my next visit. You have to book to eat here, or you may not have available seat. Thank you, I enjoyed my ramen so much.
