1st time trying the food from this newest outlet.
The food was good for the price altg6the set meal for 1 is very expensive compared to mint @ Portobello but nonetheless I enjoyed my meal very much that I'd definitely consider ordering again.
Excellent delivery service & very polite and friendly driver.
Not any extras like other outlets like spicy onions ect.
I highly recommend this outlet.

Absolutely amazing food and great service. We ordered Paneer Makhani which came in a very delicious creamy sauce with generous amount of paneer and Chana Masala which was super flavoursome and perfect level of spicy. Will definitely order again soon. Highly recommended!

The veg pakora was good and came with a good sauce to dip. I was really impressed with the peshwari naan! The korma sauce was tasty but it did become quite watery on the plate. I’d be keen to try some other options on the menu.
Amazing food! Newer to Indian food and decided to try something new based on the reviews and menu and was super glad I did. We were blown away by the flavorful Chicken vindaloo, the vegetable pakora, and also the peshawari Naan. Great prices for the serving amount. We had a mishap with delivery as well and had to have them deliver twice, which we felt terrible about, but they were still very nice and understanding about it and the food was still hot and delicious
Best curry I have found in a long long time!! Ordered curry for 7 people and we all loved it!! Will forever more be getting curry from here! Thank you!
I’m not normally a huge fan of Indian food; I’ve ordered from my local takeaway a few times but haven’t enjoyed it much. That has completely changed since finding out about Peppercorn, though!
The food is really really really good. It’s very tasty, very fresh, extremely healthy, and cooked very well. The food does take an hour to arrive, but it’s absolutely worth the wait, as it comes freshly-cooked and not just reheated.
If anything, my one complaint would be that they’ve made it impossible to eat from anywhere else - the difference in quality really is that much!
Oh, and if you wear contacts, it’s best to take them out before enjoying the chile garlic naan. Ow.
Absolutely delicious. All the ingredients were so fresh, and the chicken was juicy. It was my first time trying chicken bhura ever, and I look forward to trying more new dishes. Delivery driver was so kind, too! I never leave reviews but had to find somewhere to leave one for them!
Seriously the best takeaway in Edinburgh. I feel bad for cheating on my usual takeaway but fancied lamb chops which were on the Peppercorn menu (part of the set meal for 1 with a small supplement). Was so impressed with the speed of delivery and how friendly the delivery driver was. Packaging was great and I could smell cloves, cinnamon and spices as soon as I opened the trays. Everything was incredible, super fresh, flavoursome and portion sizes were great and you could tell the dips were homemade.. Can't wait to go through the rest of the menu.
We had a bit of a disaster with delivery last night with a burst curry container, no one’s fault these things happen but we asked the delivery driver to get them to call us.
Merwyn the owner called us to apologise and I have to say his dedication to customer service was incredible. We ended up chatting about how he uses multiple base sauces (most places use one) and that his vision for just putting out the best food possible despite rising prices and challenges he refuses to cut corners on ingredients or quality.
And it shows!
Hands down one of the best Indian meals I’ve had in the last 10 years by a mile!
